This private, four-and-a-half acre ancient water is over 250 years old and holds carp in excess of 50lbs. The fishing is truly superb. About 100 carp are swimming around: a very good head of forties and thirties including 3 grass carp.
The lake water is coloured, the bed is a mixture of silt and gravel with no weed, depth ranges from 13 feet to shallows.
There are no bream, poisson chat or cats – but there is a good head of roach and rudd, so you can fill in your time fishing for them!
If you fly, we will provide all your tackle but feel free to bring your own reels and alarms.
