Weston Moat Fishery is set in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. Nestled in the village of Weston on Trent the moat offers a wide range of fishing for all ages and abilities. The lake is 2.5 acres in size and is a consistent 8-12 ft deep, there is a small island at the larger end of the pool with plenty of overhanging trees and good stalking areas. The lake boasts a large variety of course fishing, and certain areas are perfect for the pole. We have Roach up to 2 lb Tench up to 6 lb Barbel and Bream, several ornamentals and a huge head of Carp. At least 25 of these are or are expected to go to mid 20’s this summer. We have a cabin on site with a wide variety of bait available produced by our very own ‘Weston Baits’, also some small items of tackle for sale. There is a clean toilet on site and much of the lake is wheelchair friendly. For a days fishing there is no need to book, just turn up to the lake and either go to the cabin or pitch up. The bailiff will come round to you at your peg. If you would like to book a night session call us and book your session. Please take a look at the rules page, we try not to stifle your fishing and all of the rules are put in place purely for the good of the lake and the fish which we hold very dear to us. Thanks for dropping by, enjoy the site and your fishing….tight lines!!!!
