TroutWoods Cottage is situated on a picturesque working farm located near the towns of Dullstroom, Machadodorp and Belfast. The farm is home to a variety of farm animals as well as some species of buck while the dams are stocked with rainbow and brown trout twice a year and guests are allowed to fish in the dams.
The pet-friendly establishment is fenced off and accommodates up to 4 guests and 2 small children in a 2 bedroom cottage with lovely views of the dams.
Valkfontein is home to many fauna and flora life, birds, ducks and trout.
Apart from cattle, sheep, chickens and goats which you may hear silently and soothingly in the background at times here you will find tranquility for your soul.
Valkfontein farm offers three magnificent dams which are fed by a pristine spring water stream which flows strongly all year round. This is pure spring water as you’ve never seen it before!
Valkfontein together with its old farm house, farming infrastructure and animals is meticulously maintained and superbly operated in a relaxed fashion that blends in with its surrounds.
