Carp fishing
We have four main carp lakes, Spring, Grove, Heron & Broadwing, all of which are available to fish on a day ticket, but must be booked in advance. The current Carp record was set October 2012 on the Broadwing Lake, a beautiful big common weighing in at a massive 42lb 5oz.
Ticket prices are currently £10 for a day ticket 7am to 6 pm on Spring (£12 for Heron, Broadwing & Grove) and £10 for 6pm to 7 am on Spring (£12 for Heron, Broadwing & Grove), making it basically £20 or £24 for 24 hours to catch that fish of a lifetime!
We limit the number of anglers allowed on each lake so please book ahead to avoid disappointment.
The complex has comfortable swims, along with toilets, shower facilities, and ample car parking. We also boast a tackle, bait and general convenience shop on site, use of microwave and all this in idyllic and peaceful surroundings.
We have professionally qualified well known carp angler Keith Williams available for custom private tuition on the complex to help to get the most out of your fishing, just ask in the shop for more details!
We are always on hand to provide advice on the latest catches and tactics and baits that are working well. Our fully stocked tackle shop will mean you will be able to pick up the right bait and stock up on the latest tackle as we are agents for all the leading manufacturers. Korda, Fox, Dynamite, Nash, Sticky, Mainline, C C Moore, Trakker etc.
The carp lakes have all been stocked differently to ensure whatever type of specimen hunter you are, there will be a lake just right for you. With Spring being our ‘Runs’ water, then Heron and Grove heavily stocked with fish from 10lb to over 30lb and Broadwing with 20s and 30’s.
Coarse fishing
On the coarse side, every season, catches in excess of 100lbs are recorded, comprising of specimen Tench, Roach, Chub, Barbel, Crucians and Bream not to mention the Carp for which Taswood has made its name.
Like the carp lakes all our coarse lakes Lapwing, Osprey & Grebe are well stocked and contain a variety of species to cater for all types of angler; Tench lakes, mixed pleasure lakes. match style carp lakes, whatever your mood we have got the fishing to suit.

We have baliffs on site who are only too happy to help if you are new to fishing or just need a quick pointer in the right direction to get as many fish as possible on the bank.
Day tickets run from 7am to dusk and are priced at just £8 per day. These do not require pre-booking and you can just turn up on the day and get your ticket from the tackle shop on site.
