Swanlands Fishing Lakes is a premier course fishery, established for over 30 years. The commercial fishery is set in 13 acres of peaceful countryside on the outskirts of the market town of Thorne and is highly recognised as one of South Yorkshires best course fishing venues.
Comprising of 2 match course lakes, the smaller and more mature Cherry lake has 25 pegs and Chestnut lake has 45 pegs. Both lakes are heavily stocked with the highest quality mixed carp, bream, roach, perch, ide and tench.
Our landscaped, uniquely designed waters offer an ideal venue for club matches of all sizes and we host 6 hour open matches for all anglers on a Tuesday and Thursday and some Saturdays on Cherry all year round.
We welcome all enquiries for match fishing, including mid week corporate day packages which are available on request. Pleasure angling and match practice is welcome on both lakes when team and open matches are not booked. We would advise to call in advance just to check availability prior to arrival.
