The Specimen Lake
Our Specimen Carp lake is seen by many of our visitors as Swanborough Fishing Lakes 'crowning jewel'. This well established 3.5 acre pool has a depth range from 1.5 - 8ft and offering some of the best day-ticket Carp fishing to be found in East Sussex. There are 18 purpose built swims around the water and each of them are big enough to accommodate a bivy shelter and all the necessary kit for a long-stay session. Stocked with Common, Ghost, Mirror and Grass Carp to nearly 40lb.
Night Fishing Is Available On The Specimen Lake
There are also some good quality Pike in our specimen lake with a known best of 30lb. It can be both challenging and rewarding so your rigs, bait and tactics will need to be 'cute' to the seasons to get the best from your session.

The Tench Lake
Our Silvers Lake as the name suggests is dedicated more to the pleasure/match style of angler. This 2.5 acre lake is full of features from lily pads to reeds and overhanging trees. A mature lake, it was actually the first to be dug on the venue some 20 years ago with depths varying from 1.5 - 6ft.
Night Fishing is Available on the Tench Lake
This pool has plenty of features from lush lily pads to reeds and it is stocked with: Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd and a few rogue Carp to 30lbs! The lake responds to all fishing tactics and baits and we occasionally hold fishing competitions (matches) on this water. Details for these events can be found here when dates and details have been are finalised.

The Decoy Lake
Decoy lake is the smallest pool on the venue at 1.5 acres. There are 12 pegs around the lake with a depth range up to 6 ft. Decoy lake has recently undertaken a full refurbishment. The intention is to make Decoy the venue's 'runs' type and we are currently running a new stocking program on this water to support this.
Night Fishing is Available on the Decoy Lake
An additional stock of Common Carp have recently been introduced to the Decoy Lake, these fish average 20lb an individual with the best weighing 23lb with fish in pristine condition. This will massively help the stock density in the lake as we are aiming this pool towards being the venues 'runs' type water.
