South Linden Fishery

South Linden Fishery

We are a trout fishery located 6 miles north of Morpeth, we have easy access to the A1 2 miles and the A697 only a 1/2 mile.
The fishery was established in 2002 and is fed by a local burn, the actual fishery totals some 7 acres, the two lakes the largest being 1.5 acres and the smaller 3/4 of an acre,
Both lakes are maturing well and have good fly hatches the fish can be taken off the on dry patterns as well as subsurface on the usual wets and lures .

The Fish
We stock top quality rainbow, blue, and brown trout. The fish vary in size between 1.5lbs and 23lbs with at least 40 double figure fish in the larger lake alone, the lakes are stocked on a regular basis with double figure fish being added to at every stocking, this gives every angler a very good chance of hooking a very large fish.

Facilties
We provide ample parking blue badge holders are allowed to use the car park at the top of the larger lake thus being able to park only 10 yards from the waters edge. There are 2 shelters at the top of the fishery for anglers to take cover in inclement weather
We have an on site toilet that is cleaned every day and a fisherman's lodge where you can get tea and coffee free of charge
