Following a year-long redevelopment programme, Rum Bridge Fisheries opened on March 15th, 2019.Located in Clare, Suffolk – close to Sudbury, Braintree and Haverhill - the complex comprises three intimate, spring-fed ponds, together with two lakeside glamping pods and a sleeps-six bell tent overlooking two small carp ponds.
Designed to meet the differing needs of specimen carp hunters, match fishermen and general pleasure anglers, the complex comprises a big carp pond – stocked exclusively with common and mirror carp, ranging from 22lbs – to 42lbs+ – as well as a match style runs water, offering hectic sport to match, club and pleasure anglers from scrapper singles and scaly doubles as well as a good head of tench (8lbs+), roach (up to 2lbs), perch (1-2lbs), bream and crucians.
A third pond, the Road Lake, offers carp (30lbs+), tench (8lbs+), silvers and pike (20lbs+).
All our guests have access to secure parking, disabled-accessible toilets, a shower and field kitchen with hot and cold running water, together with picnic benches and free-to-use fire pits.
An extensive range of top brand bait and terminal tackle, hot food, snacks and drinks is also available to purchase onsite.
