Parco del Brenta

Parco del Brenta is fabulous oasis surrounded by great nature, a former quarry of over 146,000 square meters with a perimeter of about 3 kilometers.
Situatted in Fontaniva in the province of Padua, It has been a lake for sport fishing since 1997.

It is known with certainty that the excavations interrupted in 1984, which was the first year carps were introduced in the lake.
Since that time carps were regularly introduced in the lake.

          
The lake is managed by Antonio and his family. 
All fish int the lake health  certified by the offiologist and come exclusively from Italian farms - our rule that secure the quality of the water. 
The lake is very rich in natural food, primarily freshwater and ver de vaase shrimp which helped by the food introduced by the anglers,
leads to very high growth of the carps
The population of the mirrors and common carps have a very high average weight, with numerous specimens over 20, atleast 11 over 30kg up to 38kg (current record of the lake).
Other species are grass carp up to 25kg, magnificent koi with bright colors, sturgeons and American fowl.
The seabed is almost completely gravelly with some muddy and other more sandy areas.
