Orkhon Camp is probably the best place to stay in the Orkhon Valley. Its location near the Orkhon river and amidst all the landmarks of the valley makes it a perfect foothold for any visitor exploring this region of Mongolia. The camp is only 7 km away from the waterfall, 35 km away from Tuvkhun Monastery, 45 km away from the Naiman Nuur lakes and 104 km away from Karakorum. The camp is made up of 20 fully equipped gers, a restaurant, showers, as well as standard and Eco-toilets. Our restaurant and bar serve delicious Mongolian and Western dishes, as well as all sorts of beverages. We have equipments to practice all sorts of activities such as fishing or rafting on the Orkhon river which is right next to the camp. It is also possible to practice hiking, horse riding, biking and many other types of outdoor activities. Our camp is also very involved in the sustainable development of the Valley. For example, we organize cleanups every year and we use various Eco-friendly equipment's such as solar panels or solar water heaters and we will soon build a passive solar greenhouse in order to provide fresh and varied vegetables for our guests.
