Trout Lakes
At Moorbrook we have a total of 5 trout lakes holding Rainbow, Brown and Blue Trout. The fishery records are rainbow 20lb, Brown Trout 10.5lb and Blue Trout 6 1/2lb.

The abundance of invertebrate and terrestrial life in and around the lakes makes fishing at Moorbrook a very natural experience.
Outside is the communal BBQ and picnic area over looking the lakes and Causeway Coast – just bring your own charcoal! A disabled access toilet is adjacent to the lodge and shelters are scattered around the lakes for those sudden downpours.
At Moorbrook Lodge encourage the safe handling and proper care of the fish so in future they can grow and become more healthy and turn into those prize winning fish.
A specific gutting and cleaning area is also available where you can clean and prepare your own fish or get a member of the Moorbrook Lodge staff to do it for you.
There is ample car parking available and also disabled access.
Carp Lakes
Moorbrook's Coarse Lake proves the perfect venue for experienced Carp angler to target bigger fish Carp up to 13lb tench up to 6lb also with an abundance of smaller fish proves a really good venue for the novice looking to meet Carp and Tench for the first time. We have noted a dramatic increase in size and numbers of carp at the fishery proving a healthy feeding and breeding program. Our roach go to 2lb and the quality of these fish have been noted by many anglers.
Our Coarse lakes are stocked with Common, Mirror and Grass Carp, also Tench, Roach, Perch, Golden Rudd and Bream. Worms, maggots and Dynamite bait can all be purchased on site. Club competitions are welcome and school or group parties can be catered for. Great value coarse fishing gear on our on site tackle shop to help you catch those bigger coarse fish.
Moorbrook is available for anglers to camp out using their bivy and fish all night, with a one off loyalty payment to gain admission. We have a verity of different bivys for sale along with other terminal tackle. Main stocker of Dynamite baits well known in the industry for their catching abilities. A bivy to hire for the angler to experience camping out without the expense of buying. The Carp lake can be booked exclusively for private matches.
The Bait stream pools with an abundance of Rouch and Perch this provides great fun for the experienced angler and also gives the complete beginner a fantastic experience.
