Upgrades and renovations are ongoing here at Loralea and we're so pleased to present our third updated contemporary cottage this year. The Amethyst (formerly Lakeside Cottage), is a roomy two-bedroom cottage right on the lake with a private dock and expansive deck overlooking the water. Vaulted ceilings throughout, and a huge picture window showcases some of the most amazing sunrises imaginable. The Emerald, our four-bedroom family cottage was completed last year and provides comfortable and spacious living, ideal for a family or group of friends looking for an escape to the country. It too has a spectacular view from the deck and a playground for the little ones only steps away. The two-bedroom Sapphire Cottage was our first project with all the comforts of home. We are so delighted and appreciate all our guests and the new friends we've made along the way who return year-after-year to enjoy all we have to offer and inspire us to achieve even more.
More Gems are scheduled for beautiful makeovers, and photos will be updated as the work progresses. In the
meantime, the three studio cabins have been freshened up considerably with new flooring, paint, new siding, and more.
On-site activities include volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, tetherball, canoes, paddleboats, a paddleboard, a kayak, shuffleboard, fishing, and of course, swimming. Popular off-site activities include ATVing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and so many tourist attractions close by.
