It's a peaceful camping ground on a picturesque, protected East Coast harbour near the famous 90 Mile Beach and on the way to Cape Reinga. Our cabins have fabulous harbour views and are built to catch the morning sun. The cabin complex includes a kitchen/ lounge area, picnic tables, BBQ and pizza oven.
Our large camp ground includes 71 powered sites, a large number of non-power sites plus kitchen, laundry and ablution facilities. There are secluded sites or ones with spectacular harbour views and a designated pet area.
The camp features include a swimming pool, covered gazebo's and BBQ area and a children's playground. We have kayaks, fishing rods for hire. There is a boat ramp and boat/car washing facility. We can arrange fishing/dive charters, or book an ever-popular Cape Reinga/90 Mile Beach tour. The adjacent 15km beach is popular with surfers, shellfish gatherers, and sun lovers. Swimming at the camp is generally safe.
