Camping at Hobby Farm is rustic and rural and is probably more suited for experienced campers.
We know that many of our campers come here to experience simplicity and to be left alone to appreciate our lovely surroundings. As such, we do not intrude and leave campers alone but we are available by phone if you have any questions or you can always catch Tom, the owner, when he is on site each morning between 8 and 9 am and each evening around 6 pm.
Our facilities don’t clean themselves. Tom cleans the toilets and showers twice daily and in addition, there is an onus on all campers to clean after use to maintain cleanliness, especially in these unsettling times. We provide cleaning products and disposable towels for this purpose.
Our two fields are not bowling greens! Both gently slope and because we don’t allocate pitches, you choose your spot on arrival on a ‘first come first served’ basis. If you are in a camper van, please remember to bring your own chocks.
We are not a campsite for large groups who want to listen to loud music or talk throughout the night keeping others awake.
The peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of Hobby Farm can only be maintained if everyone is willing to contribute and respect others.
