Nestled beneath Edge in Gloucestershire, the Fishery boasts 4 well stocked lakes, a cafe and great facilities for all ages and abilities.
Regular matches are run at the venue as well as being a favourite for coaches to teach young and new anglers.
You can drive to all 4 lakes and there is parking available near most of the pegs, with only a short walk to a couple of them, making it perfect if you’d rather not have to carry a lot of kit miles!
Field Lake
Field Lake is our most popular lake. Well stocked with a variety of species. Carp to 20+ pounds have been landed on this lake and 3 hour match weights have exceeded the magic ton (100lb).
Combined with a good head of silver fish large weights are the norm.
Match Lake
The Match Lake was introduced in order to leave the original 3 lakes open to pleasure fishermen at all times.
The Lake has been constructed to make fishing as fair as possible to all match anglers.
It is 13 metres from each peg (excluding the 4 corner pegs) to the long, narrow centre island that has been constructed in a way that there are no “features” that will make one peg any better than the rest.
There are 30 pegs on the lake and Fishery Manager Andy Price runs plenty of open matches.
Match Anglers are welcome to practice on the lake if there are no matches booked for that day.
Meadow Lake
Meadow Lake has fast become popular with anglers for its large head of double figure carp. Along with skimmers & roach it holds a good mix of fish.
Pasture Lake
Pasture Lake is the smallest in size but not in catches.
The hard fighting carp in this lake have caught many an unsuspecting angler out. Again with a good head of silver fish as well, this lake is ideal for those new to lake fishing and juniors as well.
