A pretty camping ground on a working Sussex sheep farm. Gumber Bothy Bunkbarn and Campsite provides an interesting array of accommodation. As well as a pretty, rural camping ground, the site is home to a simple bothy. This converted flint barn benefits from toilets, showers, sleeping dorms, a kitchen, a BBQ, bike racks, a pay phone and drying room. Visitors to the campsite have access to the same facilities, apart from the sleeping dorms.
With no cars allowed on site, you’ll never be disturbed by traffic noise and free to relax with just the sound of birdsong disturbing the quiet.
Keen walkers are in for a treat with over 25 miles of dedicated walking routes, including the South Downs Way and the Monarch’s Way, easily accessible from the campsite, make the most of this beautiful area and explore it on foot.
