Golden Fawn is cozily nestled in a small, quiet cove looking out on a beautiful, protected bay dotted with islands. Surrounded by a forest of tall majestic pines, sturdy oak, graceful birch and colorful maple trees, we are located right in the middle of the Chippewa Flowage.
Fish from the dock or from a boat. Either way, the haunting cry of the loon comes drifting across the bay, as an eagle soars overhead, and maybe a deer scampers for cover. A stroll along the hiking trails is always a pleasure, and the "BIG CHIP" not only offers some of the best walleye, crappie and pan fishing, but also the always exciting challenge of the elusive and mighty musky. The many islands add to the wilderness atmosphere and also offer some lovely picnic spots.
