Fernleigh lodge dots along the beautiful and rustic shore of Kashwakamak Lake. Our 11 acre property is as unique as each of our cabins. Fernleigh Lodge is an almost 100 year old fishing camp that was founded in the early 1900’s by John Ahr. Each and every building was skillfully build by hand using logs that had been cut and floated down the lake. All of these cabins are still used today. We have of course made quite a lot of upgrades and added facilities to make our guests stay relaxing and comfortable but still keeping the rustic, natural feel. Whether your looking for a rustic log cabin or a more modern style cabin we have a wide variety of cabins to choose from. Whichever cabin you choose you can rest assure knowing that it will be clean and comfortable. All of our cabins have full kitchens and bathrooms. We also have a on site dinning room where you can enjoy your meals from our newly renovated dinning room overlooking the lake. Our fresh, home cooked meals and friendly service are sure to be the highlight of your stay.
Kashwakamak Lake is known for it beautiful shorelines and pristine waters. Whatever your idea of a perfect get away; whether it be fishing, swimming, canoeing or relaxing we have the perfect place for you.
Kashwakamak Lake is a fishing “hot spot.” Small mouth bass, large mouth bass, walleye, (pickerel) northern pike and perch are some of the many kinds of fish that you will catch when you fish this lake. Another great part of this lake is the many loons that live here. There is nothing better then listing to the call of the loons while sitting fire side on a warm summer night.
