It is not easy, because the Great Masurian Lakes are a huge range of water, where the knowledge of the places where predators reside is crucial to achieve fishing success. Availability of the fishery Access to the best fisheries is provided by a boat with an internal combustion engine. Fishing from the shore is relatively difficult and not optimal. Good places to catch predators are only in certain places, which our guide knows very well. Recommended methods of fishing The basic method of catching predatory fish is, of course, spinning or casting with artificial lures. Trolling is also a good method. Predators can also be caught with an artificial fly. Limits and Restrictions On our trips to the Great Masurian Lakes, we prefer the catch and release method. After hauling the fish, take pictures and gently release the fish back into the water. Thanks to such practices, we are able to catch the same fish even several times. From the fishery you can take 1 pike per person, 50-70 cm in size. All other pike are released back into the water. Accommodation and fishing service The vessels to which we take our guests are mainly 4.5-5 m laminated boats with 20-30 HP internal combustion engines and smaller 4.3-5 m vessels with 10-15 HP combustion engines. The guide boat is equipped with a professional fishfinder. It is comfortable and safe on our vessels. Of course, we provide accommodation for our clients. Accommodation depending on your preferences - from private accommodation, through guesthouses and hotels, and ending with SPA hotels.
