Commonwood Fishery is a coarse fishery set in 60 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside near to Wrexham in NE Wales, The complex provides a variety of waters catering for all types of angler and all skill levels. The complex also hosts a lodge which provides both a café area and bait / tackle sales.
There are match and pleasure lakes plus two carp “runs” waters and a pure specimen carp lake. Pegs on the carp lakes are larger than usual pegs and can take bivvies. Several pegs have their own private entrance with a gate that can be locked. The runs waters are proving to be very popular with good size carp regulary coming out to over 20lb. The specimen lake is stocked with a high head of carp over 20lb & 30lb with a current lake record of 39lb. There are car parks near to all the lakes so no walking long distances with all your gear is required.
