The lake at Cleasby is very much a sleeping giant. At 30 acres in size, with depths to 28 feet, filled with crystal clear water. It has all the ingredients to become one of the leading syndicate waters in the North East of England. Due to the lake been allowed to develop naturally over a period of time, this has allowed an abundance of natural food to build up. Alongside the carp there are several other species of fish present in the lake: Pike, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Chub.
