Five Hand-crafted Log cabins well spaced  along the shore of Minnesota’s clearest lake.  Located north of  Grand Rapids, Minnesota  on the newly completed National Scenic Byway 38.  The route weaves between hills, lakes, and a diverse forest. The first lake north of the Laurentian divide is crystal clear Caribou lake. The jewel in the crown of Itasca county which is home to 1000 lakes.

This special place is nestled in the woods with fishing, swimming, hiking, right out your door.  Relax, play, make memories, and start a tradition.  Our 3 beautifully crafted, highly secluded Large Log cabins include Fieldstone fireplaces, well equip kitchens, private sauna, private dock, yard, and deck.  Each with 4 bedrooms, 3  bathrooms, and bunk area.  Or for a smaller group stay in our Tiny log Cabin for up to 2 people, or our one bedroom loggers cabin for up to 4 or 5 people.

Located in the Chippewa National Forest, This little gem is the perfect hideaway for your next getaway. Caribou lake is spring-fed and the first lake in the watershed to flow north to the Hudson Bay. With a hard sand bottom and visibility of up to 40 feet it hosts Lake Trout, Bass, Huge Northern Pike, and pan fish.  And don’t bring bottled water, bring jugs to fill and bring home with you.  It’s the best water on earth.
