Welcome to Big Lake Wilderness Lodge. Surrounded by the Superior National Forest and easy walking or paddling distance to the famed Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, we are the most remote drive-in resort in northern Minnesota.
Here you're sure to enjoy the near-by hiking trails, kayaking, paddle boating, canoing, FISHING, or just sitting lakeside and taking in the view. We welcome your 4-legged friends as well.
In the Lodge, you will find free Wifi, TV, coffee, books, games, weather and fishing reports, along with our friendly staff. We have an on site laundry facility for your convenience. Stop by our store and find the 'essentials' you may have missed and bring home that special souvenir. We carry a full line of tackle and live bait. Satellite TV in all cabins except Rookery, Aurora and Reflections.
