Bear Paw Adventure’s unique log buildings, the Wise Old Hunter Lodge, the Anchor Point Captain Cook Lodge, and the Moose Cabin and the Bear Den Vacation Home, were built by the Bear Paw family using beetle-killed trees from the property or from nearby. BPA’s buildings are considered unique, even for this picturesque Alaska location, because of the handcrafted style of the buildings, Alaskan furnishings including full-body big game mounts, log furniture and the extent to which the buildings are stocked with supplies. The buildings are set among the spruce trees in natural area. Guests that stay with BPA not only enjoy comfortable and interesting lodging, they also continue to experience the wonders of Alaska while at the lodge or cabin, enjoying the décor, wildlife and natural settings of the site.
