Heath Lake is a quality day ticket carp lake.
The lake has 23 swims in 2 acres of water with carp to 30lbs. Night fishing is from the far bank only.
Depths down to 6' are found all across the lake. Fishing tight to the near or far margins is very productive.
During the current cooler weather, PVA bags of mixed sized pellets with a single boilie, grain of corn, or bunch of maggots on a clip have been working well. Expect Zig Rigs to start to pick out bigger fish now the days are getting longer. Swims by the car park have been producing fish to just over 20lbs.
Moors Lake is our main match and pleasure fishing lake. It has 48 permanent pegs on comfortable platforms and runs to 5 acres in size.
The lake has steeply shelving near and far margins. Depths are typically around 6' and the bottom is generally flat.
Bomb with pellets, feeder with meat or corn, and long pole with pellets or worm over groundbait all produce well. When fishing to the islands, the pellet waggler or deep waggler are top methods.
Because the margins are deep, fishing along the edge with the pole works well and the short pole with paste also produces at times.
Fenwood Lake is a limited ticket syndicate lake.
The lake covers an area of close to 10 acres. The depths vary between 5' and 7' maximum, with a variety of underwater features to aim for.
Each swim has a large, level area to fish from. Plenty of reed beds give both shelter and privacy.
This lake is in a most beautiful setting, adjoining a wildlife sanctuary, allowing our members to relax in stunning surroundings while trying to tempt our superb fish stocks.
