Sport fishing in the pond "Rašelina" in cadastre area Ponědrážka
Municipality of Ponědrážka offers an angling rod sport fishing opportunity in the pond „Rašelina".
The pond is located in Ponědrážka cadastre area, approximately 1 km from the village centre towards Ponědraž. It is 7km far from Veselí nad Lužnicí towards Třeboň in South Bohemian county. The pond was created by the extraction of peat and it can´t be drained. Its area is 5 ha. The pond is placed in a quiet surroundings and is accessible also by car.
There are mainly carps and amurs in the pond but there occur also predatory species like pike, pikeperch, cat-fish and other fish species like perch, tench, roach, bream, etc. Carps and amurs of higher weight categories are replenished every year.
Sport fishing can be performed by anyone older than 15 years of age, who buys a fishing permit of Ponědrážka municipal office and who complies with all rules written in „Rules of sport fishing in a pond Rašelina in cadastre area Ponědrážka". Children younger than 15 years have to be accompanied by a person older than 15 years.
Fishing season is defined from 1st April till 30th November. Catching of predatory fish is allowed since 1st June.
Permits are issued by an administrator of the pond, Mr Jan Jindra, Ponědrážka 46, phone: +420 724 189 793. Permits are not transferable. The permit including the report of caught fish needs to be handed back to the administrator when the fishing is finished. In case the administrator is not available the permit must be inserted into his letter box (Ponědrážka 46) or into the letter box placed next to the road to the pond.
